Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Retail team as on-site Retail Experts in one of our TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax return preparation, advice, and software support to customers in a welcoming, front-facing environment.

As a trusted advisor in the community, you will grow TurboTax’s client base, nurture relationships, and collaborate with TurboTax marketing.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney licence with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain State licences, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador representing TurboTax locally and as a visible brand in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through outreach.
• Lead local marketing efforts with TurboTax support to make taxes accessible and approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources, professional tools, and team expertise.
