Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on‑site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will prepare tax returns, provide tax advice, assist with software support, and build local client relationships.

You will represent TurboTax in the community, handle in-person consultations, and leverage marketing resources to grow the client base. This is a non-exempt, on-site role with a focus on customer service and local engagement.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep tax knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and client-focused service.
• Grow TurboTax client base through local community engagement and marketing support.
