Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated TurboTax Retail Experts to serve customers in-person at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support while building a local client base and community presence.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state Form 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays through Saturdays, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador representing TurboTax locally as a public face.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate with TurboTax in local marketing to make taxes approachable.
• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and provide tax planning advice.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine care.
• Build long-term trust to turn transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit's video tools; address inquiries and challenges.
