Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst for on-site work at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, execute continuous monitoring tasks, and conduct system testing to secure cutting-edge systems.

An ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required; US citizenship is needed. The role anticipates December 2026 funding and demands DoD cybersecurity expertise across several weapon systems.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years of engineering experience on Combat Weapons Systems in Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, or other Navy systems; IAT Level II or III per DoD 8570.01.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Office tools.
• Plan, perform, and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Apply STIGs and DoD/NSA recommendations to systems.
• Lead ISSO responsibilities for information systems and coordinate cybersecurity requirements.
