Job summary

UFP Site Built, LLC in Burlington, NC is seeking a design engineer to create metal plate-connected wood trusses and wall panels, using Mitek software. You will optimize designs for efficiency and review orders for accuracy to support sales and production.

The role requires 2–5 years in roof/floor truss design, with knowledge of roof and floor systems and the ability to specify beams and hangars. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in roof/floor truss design required
• Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred
• Working knowledge of floor and roof systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars
