Job summary

Expeditors seeks a Transportation Operations Supervisor (Customer Onsite) to manage day-to-day transportation activities for a key customer onsite in the United States. You will lead projects, track shipments, manage vendor relations, and report on performance while maintaining high customer service standards.

You will coordinate with warehouses, carriers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics preferred.
• 2+ years in transportation and logistics.
• Experience with air, road, ocean movements and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute projects.
• Create project plans to drive continuous process improvement.
• Work closely with vendor account managers and project managers to execute projects.
• Ensure SOPs, SWIs, and processes reflect needs and are communicated to carriers.
• Coordinate with multiple warehouses, carriers, and service providers to solve problems.
• Identify carrier issues for resolution with Command Center.
• Drive operational predictability with partners.
• Analyze performance data and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Create task lists, work plans and milestones for projects.
• Present performance findings to vendors and customers.
• Proactively pursue cost savings, consolidation, and on-time performance initiatives.
