Job summary

NorthEast Electrical, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Full-Time Transportation Administrator at our Brockton, MA headquarters. This on-site role supports the Transportation and Quality Care departments, coordinating dispatch, DOT compliance, and daily metrics, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

You will work Monday–Friday 9am–5:30pm, using Eclipse and MS Office to manage manifests, routing, and communications with sales and operations.

Qualifications

Ability to organize, multi-task, research, and adapt quickly to changes.
Product knowledge is desirable.
Working knowledge of Eclipse and Job Queues.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
Able to provide a high level of customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Dispatch needs such as ETA requests from sales and service failure calls from drivers.
Assist with transportation communication inbound and outbound.
Maintain, scan and close manifest daily.
Record and track daily metrics (stops, hours, miles).
Assist the Quality Care department with job queues, returns, ICQA, etc.
Assist with routing as needed.
Monitor and maintain DOT compliance documents/processes.
Perform other related duties as directed by Transportation Manager.
