Job summary

Giga Energy in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Technician to be hands-on at the heart of our manufacturing operation. You will receive incoming materials, store inventory, and pick and stage components to keep the production line on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in warehouse or manufacturing, experience with forklifts and ERP systems, and a strong eye for detail to ensure accurate counts and documentation. This is an onsite role with OT and weekend needs as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse, shipping/receiving or manufacturing with an inventory/material role.
• Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS/ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics365, NetSuite).
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, pick tickets, and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and parts; verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or overhead cranes as required.
• Enter receiving, put-away, and pick transactions into the ERP system
• Store materials in designated locations, maintaining organized, labeled, and easily accessible inventory
• Pick, kit, and stage components to support production schedules and work orders.
• Prepare finished transformers and outbound shipments for delivery, including packaging, crating, labeling, and staging for freight carriers
• Perform cycle counts and periodic physical inventories; assist in resolving inventory discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards
