Giga Energy in Houston is seeking an Assembly Technician to bring complex energy systems to life, from raw components to finished units. You will own quality and craftsmanship, directly impacting how quickly we bring infrastructure online.

This role requires hands-on work on-site, reading engineering drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with engineering and QA to ensure first-pass yield. A strong eye for detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electromechanical or mechanical assembly in manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components per drawings, BOMs, and instructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure compliant builds.
• Use tools and measuring equipment to assemble to specification.
• Perform visual inspections and basic functional checks.
• Identify and communicate assembly defects to engineering in real time.
• Collaborate with test and QC to ensure smooth product flow and high first-pass yield.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on the assembly floor.
