Job summary

Giga Energy in Houston is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our transformer-focused manufacturing site. You will receive incoming materials, store inventory, and pick and stage components to keep the production line on schedule.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with a range of materials from small parts to large transformer components; onsite full-time with overtime and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse, shipping/receiving or manufacturing with inventory responsibilities.
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and BOMs.
• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or NetSuite.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate inventory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments of materials; verify against packing slips and PO; report discrepancies.
• Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or cranes as required.
• Enter receiving, put-away, and pick transactions into the ERP system.
• Store materials in designated locations with organized, labeled inventory.
• Pick, kit, and stage components to support production schedules and work orders.
• Prepare finished transformers and outbound shipments for delivery, including packaging and labeling.
• Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse per 5S standards.
