Job summary

Shaw Industries Ltd. is seeking a Training & HR Specialist to join the Commercial and Turf HR teams. This role supports onboarding, training coordination, HR operations, and business initiatives across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently within a collaborative team environment. Based at Plant 72 in Dalton, GA, or Plant CX in Cartersville, GA, with regular travel between Cartersville, Dalton, and Calhoun facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of HR experience or related area.
• Ability to travel between Dalton, Cartersville, and Calhoun locations as needed.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to support onboarding and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onboarding resource for new team members across Commercial and Turf businesses.
• Coordinate in-person and virtual onboarding activities and schedules.
• Support training logistics, including meeting coordination, registration, and materials preparation.
• Maintain onboarding resources, materials, and communications.
• Assist with I-9 processing for new hires in supported locations.
• Support turf HR and VP of HR activities and calendars.
• Create and manage onboarding checklists and equipment distribution.
• Assist with employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.
