Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead development programs for aerospace/defense systems. You will coordinate design, manufacturing, QA, and customer program management to ensure on-time, compliant delivery and robust technical documentation.

Responsibilities include creating AS9100 program plans, contributing to cost estimates for bids, and guiding cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in management of development projects.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in design of components or systems in a development environment, preferably for military or commercial aviation.
• Working knowledge of manufacture of mechanical components and assemblies with emphasis in complex electromechanical systems, or large structures.
• Must be able to generate and track program schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to write technical reports documenting status.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Proof of Education is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between design engineering, manufacturing, QA, and customer program management.
• Create and maintain AS9100 program plans and compliance evidence for the R&D group.
• Support development of technical and cost inputs for responses to inquiries and RFPs.
• Work in a fast-paced cross-functional team and as an individual contributor.
