Job summary

Marvin Engineering seeks a Manager of Quality Systems to lead AS9100D compliance and document control across MEC. Based in Southern California, this onsite role partners with cross-functional teams to sustain the Quality Management System.

You will drive internal/external audits, manage SharePoint documents, and deliver weekly quality reports while mentoring staff in best practices and training related to MEC's QMS.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree and 5–10 years of aerospace/defense QA experience.
• AS9100D Lead Assessor Auditor certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and computer skills.
• Ability to engage cross-functionally with executive sponsorship.
• Leadership in identifying gaps and driving improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage AS9100D governed documents and ensure SharePoint accessibility.
• Improve the Quality Management System with cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead readiness for internal/external audits and CB audits.
• Coordinate communications in the OASIS portal and monitor CB engagement.
• Support corrective action effectiveness and related audits.
• Provide weekly/monthly quality reports identifying focus areas.
• Oversee MEC Business Management System training and development.
