Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex aerospace and defense programs in Mukilteo, WA. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer requirements while guiding cross-functional teams to meet technical, schedule, and cost targets.

The role emphasizes program planning, risk management, and collaboration with various departments to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, and execute projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams in design, development, analysis and testing of components and systems.
• Interface with customers and internal leadership to maintain clear communication and alignment.
• Support business development through proposal writing and participation in new business meetings.
• Ensure complete documentation of engineering activities, drawings, reports and presentations.
• Track program performance using key metrics and identify risks with mitigations.
• Coordinate program reviews and transition from BD to program execution.
