Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp is seeking an onsite welding technician to perform setup on entry-level welding components and execute TIG/MIG welding with high precision. The role emphasizes adherence to strict quality standards and accurate interpretation of work orders.

The position starts with a 5:00am–3:30pm schedule Tue–Fri, with Mondays off. Compensation ranges from $20–$24 per hour, with benefits starting Day 1 and training during the initial period.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months of related experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals.
• Good reading comprehension and machinist/inspection aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Tig welding 90% and mig welding 10% using multiple materials (steel, galvanised, stainless).
• Properly set up welding machines.
• Preparation before welding: ripping and trimming wire belts.
• Clean welds and check for imperfections.
• Maintain accurate alignment, dimensions, materials, component counts, and inspection standards.
• Interpret work orders and coordinate with co-workers and QA.
• Work within estimates and work orders.
• Wire crimping and machine operation; training provided.
