Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Test Systems Engineer II for 100% onsite work. You will work with multiple engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements, applying MBSE tools and developing subsystem models.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with 2+ years of related engineering experience and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. Preference for DOORS, SysML/UML, and MBSE tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years related engineering experience or a STEM Master’s in lieu of experience.
• Experience in test requirements development, planning, techniques and validation for tests.
• Ability to apply systems engineering approaches across the product lifecycle.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and document test environments and capabilities.
• Develop subsystem models using MBSE tools and methods.
• Derive and communicate test requirements and interfaces.
• Manage requirements and traceability across teams.
• Reuse test environment models to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with SMEs to understand subsystems and resolve issues.
