Job summary

Primary Care Solutions is seeking an onsite Telehealth Tech (LPN/CMA) to support veterans in our Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. You will set up telehealth sessions, assist providers during exams, and perform routine clinical tasks in a confidential environment.

Office hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Responsibilities include vital signs, documentation in the EMR, and assisting with EKGs, injections, and blood draws as trained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current and active state Nursing License for LPN or CMA certification.
• Graduate of an accredited certificate program in nursing/medical support.
• Knowledge of computer systems including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist telehealth setup for veterans and remote provider during visits.
• Record vital signs and document in the electronic medical record.
• Complete clinical reminders and obtain patient medical histories.
• Assist on-site providers during examinations and treatments.
• Perform ancillary tasks such as EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy as trained.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in/out.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an onsite (in clinic) Telehealth Tech (LPN/CMA), you will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming, and confidential environment for our Veterans who have served our country valiantly. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensuring the health and well‑being of our nation's Veterans.

• Office hours are M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
• Supports patient care delivery via telehealth onsite. This includes setting the veteran up with the telehealth provider, assisting remote provider in exam using peripheral instruments if necessary, setting up for follow up care as needed.
• Learns to use telehealth equipment and complete studies such as tele-dermatologyand teleretinal exams once trained and certified.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Completes all clinical reminders due at the time of each visit as alerted in the electronic medical record.
• Obtains medical histories from patients; verifies patient information.
• Prepares, assists, and accurately completes all forms.
• Assists on-site providers during examinations and treatment.
• Performs ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (EKG, injections, blood draws, etc.) as trained and certified.
• Schedules clinic appointments, patient check-in and/or out of the clinic

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Current and active state Nursing License for LPN interests
• Graduate of an accredited certificate program
• Knowledge of computer systems to include the MS Office Suite
• Demonstrate high-quality customer service
• Two yearsof continuous experience in clinical operations or medical office work post externship
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
