Job summary

ANA in Henderson, NV is seeking a Technical Training Technician to deliver hands-on manufacturing training onsite. You will support operator qualification, maintain training records, and reinforce standardized work across the production floor.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing or hands-on training, with the ability to read engineering drawings and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, technical certificate, apprenticeship, or military technical training preferred.
• Two+ years of manufacturing, production assembly, equipment maintenance, technical service, or hands-on workforce training experience.
• Demonstrated ability to safely perform and teach hands-on technical tasks using hand tools, power tools, PPE and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, BOMs, routings, work instructions, SOPs, and inspection criteria at workstation level.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with comfort coaching employees on the production floor.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to maintain training records and matrices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn training/quality systems; lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on onboarding, station training, cross-training, refresher training, and requalification for production staff.
• Demonstrate assembly, disassembly, inspection, material handling, equipment use, safety, and quality requirements at the workstation level.
• Coordinate shadowing and supervised practice; coach employees and provide feedback on progress.
• Maintain audit-ready training records, checklists, acknowledgments, requalification status, and operator skills matrix.
• Identify unclear instructions or missing visuals; provide documented feedback to Training Engineer for correction.
• Ensure current work instructions and training materials are available at use points and remove obsolete materials.
• Support new product introduction and pilot builds by learning new processes and assisting with training rollout.
• Partner with supervisors, Quality, Safety, Engineering to identify capability gaps and prioritize training needs.
