Job summary

ANA in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Technical Service Specialist to deliver on-site support for generators and air compressors. The role handles inbound calls and emails, conducts technical troubleshooting, and coordinates with warranty and parts teams to keep customers’ equipment running.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, reads electrical diagrams, and uses a digital multimeter. OSHA 10 preferred; travel up to 5% may be required. U.S. work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical specialty training or equivalent hands-on work experience required.
• Trade school certification with a focus on engines or mechanical systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of generator controllers.
• Experience with generators and air compressors.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Proficient in the safe use of a digital multimeter.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including circuit diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and texts; provide technical support to customers.
• Research technical issues with internal and external resources.
• Assist parts department with part identification and service setup preparation.
• Provide repair and maintenance help and warranty assistance to customers.
• Service customers’ equipment on site as needed; occasional local travel up to 5%.
• Report to Warranty & Technical Service Supervisor; develop new service processes as needed.
