Job summary

ANA, Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Specialist for our Spartanburg, SC location to provide technical support via calls and emails while helping with parts and service setup.

The role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, generator/controller experience, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. This is a fully onsite position with a Monday–Friday schedule and up to 5% local travel.

Qualifications

• Mechanical specialty training or equivalent hands-on work experience.
• Trade school certification with a focus on engines or mechanical systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of generator controllers.
• Experience with generators and air compressors.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Proficient in the safe use of a digital multimeter.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including circuit diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Make ANA Customers' World Easier.
• Answer inbound calls, emails, and texts to resolve issues.
• Research technical issues with internal/external resources.
• Use engine/controller software to provide technical support.
• Develop new service processes as needed.
• Communicate technical information in understandable language.
• Assist all departments with technical assistance for ANA products.
• Maintain the warranty system.
• Prepare parts for service setup before shipment.
• Occasional travel for service work and training.
