Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as TurboTax Retail Experts in one of our TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. This on-site role combines tax expertise, community engagement, and client service to help customers navigate their tax needs.

You’ll provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support, build relationships in the local community, and grow TurboTax’s presence.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must have PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with new prospects.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Lead local marketing efforts and make taxes approachable within the community.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and build long-term trust with clients.
• Interact with customers on-site and through TurboTax video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help overcome tax-related challenges.
