Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a seasoned systems engineer to validate complex HPC/AI solutions, coordinating tests across hardware, software, networking, and storage environments. The role emphasizes automation, issue resolution, and ensuring release readiness.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust validation strategies, while supporting Linux OS certification and lab-based testing globally. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, software engineering, test engineering, or related technical roles.
• Experience with Linux operating systems (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu) and certification/validation processes.
• Hands-on experience with HPC & AI platforms (EX, XD, Apollo) and related storage/networking.
• Familiarity with automated test execution and validation frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting and written/verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Validate complex system configurations across servers, accelerators, storage, networking, firmware, OS, and management interfaces used in AI and HPC environments.
• Translate product requirements and feature changes into validation strategies that improve test coverage and provide release-readiness feedback.
• Analyze, debug, and drive resolution of issues discovered during integrated systems testing.
• Support Linux OS certification and submission activities with vendors (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu).
• Execute testing in local and remote lab environments and coordinate automated test execution across global teams.
• Partner with product development, program management, and test teams to resolve development and release issues.
• Mentor less-experienced staff and contribute to team capability.
