Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator in Lansing, MI to maintain and support our enterprise infrastructure across Windows, Linux, virtualization, networking, cloud services, and backups. The role emphasizes stability, security, and performance of critical systems while driving improvements and operational initiatives.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in enterprise IT, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for reliable technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, IS or related field.
• 2+ years of experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration, Hyper‑V, and Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on Linux administration experience (Ubuntu or similar).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containerized environments.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, hybrid identity, and enterprise authentication services.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VLANs, firewalls, routing, switching).
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and data protection best practices.
• Experience with automation and IaC tools (Ansible, scripting).

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Hyper-V clusters, and SAN storage.
• Manage and support Kubernetes and Docker container environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
• Support Linux server environments and perform patching/upgrades.
• Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Monitor and validate backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Utilize automation tools to streamline operations.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Support phone systems and related communication tech.
• Document infrastructure changes and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Support strategic technology initiatives and continuous improvement.
