Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Systems Administrator to join our onsite team in Chantilly, VA. You will support installation, operation, and maintenance of all current and future Information Systems as part of a centralized team of admins.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows workstations, handling service tickets, and documenting incidents and procedures. A DoD 8570 IAT II certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 1+ years IT experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and Windows 10.
• Knowledge of vSphere, Horizon View, backups, and antivirus software.
• Basic networking (TCP/IP) and imaging/deployment experience.
• Experience with a Service Desk ticketing system (Remedy or ServiceNow).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Willingness to work after hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows workstations onsite and remotely.
• Provide day-to-day admin support including access management and installs.
• Resolve service tickets with guided problem solving for timely resolutions.
• Route and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
• Log requests and incidents to maintain SOP compliance.
• Create and update SOPs, manuals, and docs with MS Office.
• Learn new software/hardware to meet evolving customer needs.
