Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Senior System Administrator (Windows) to join our infrastructure team in McLean, VA (transitioning to Chantilly, VA). This hands-on role will design, implement, and maintain Windows-based systems, networks, and applications to support enterprise IT and AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI with CI Poly, 8+ years of Windows experience, and strong AD/Group Policy/DNS skills, along with patch management and high-availability focus.

Qualifications

• MUST have a current and active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
• 8+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator or similar role
• Deep expertise in Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
• Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure design and support
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and patch management
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• IAM Level II certification (DoD 8570 IAT compliant)
