Job summary

Stryker seeks an installation technician to perform on-site setup of surgical light suspensions, booms, and video integration systems in hospital facilities. You will work with sales, project engineering, and field service teams, coordinating with electricians and contractors to complete installations safely and on schedule.

Role involves traveling 100% of the time, Monday through Friday, with travel expenses covered by Stryker.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years of related technical experience (telecom, video/audio system installation, electrical/construction, medical device, hospital biomed).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install surgical light suspension systems, surgical booms, video integration systems, and related cabling.
• Program, test, and inspect video integration sources per design specifications.
• Maintain accurate installation records and provide project updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and manage daily schedules to ensure timely installations.
• Adhere to safety policies and learn PPE usage for job responsibilities.
