Job Summary

The Temporary Onsite Support Specialist serves as a key resource for deployed healthcare professionals by helping coordinate operational support activities and providing a high level of customer service throughout an assignment. Responsibilities may include assisting with travel-related needs, housing support, transportation coordination, financial reconciliation activities, event operations support, and other critical functions necessary to support business continuity efforts. This is an as-needed, temporary assignment-based role, similar to per diem or on-call work. Work opportunities are dependent on labor disruption activity, and hours or assignments are not guaranteed. Significant gaps between assignments may occur.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housing Support: Assist with clinician hotel assignments, check-ins, and lodging support throughout the event; coordinate with housing partners and hotel contacts to address lodging-related questions or concerns; collect, review, and reconcile hotel folios and lodging documentation for accuracy.
  • Transportation Support: Coordinate transportation logistics for deployed clinicians; assist with arrivals and departures at designated transportation locations; utilize AMN technology platforms to track transportation activity and support traveler movement; communicate and coordinate with transportation vendors and drivers.
  • Travel Support: Assist with travel-related coordination for deployed clinicians, including air travel, rental vehicles, and other transportation arrangements; respond to travel disruptions and help facilitate solutions as needed; provide timely communication regarding travel updates and requirements.
  • Finance & Reconciliation Support: Collect invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation related to event expenditures; maintain accurate records and assist with reconciliation of event-related costs; support reporting and audit review activities as needed.
  • Wayfinder & Operations Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for clinicians arriving onsite; answer questions and provide guidance regarding event logistics and processes; direct traffic flow and support operational stations within the command center or event location; assist with event set-up, coordination, and daily operations.
  • General Event Support: Maintain professional, customer-focused communication with healthcare professionals, recruiters, operations leaders, and internal support teams; address requests, resolve issues, and elevate concerns when appropriate; support teammates and assist in multiple functional areas as operational needs shift throughout the event; complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Work Environment

Onsite Support Specialists serve as part of a specialized operations team that helps coordinate and support healthcare professionals during workforce continuity events. Team members may be assigned to a variety of operational support functions based on event needs and business priorities. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. Team members should be comfortable assisting with clinician support, logistics coordination, operational administration, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. Successful individuals in this role demonstrate: Strong customer service and communication skills Professionalism and sound judgment Attention to detail and organizational skills Problem-solving abilities and adaptability Comfort working under pressure and managing changing priorities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technology tools.

Minimum Experience

2 years in a fast paced, externally facing customer support department, with preferred emphasis in travel, customer service, or sales operations.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
