Job summary

Pacific Fusion Corporation in California is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support inventory control, materials planning, and MES data accuracy on the production floor. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to keep materials available for jobs.

The role offers hands-on MES exposure, mentorship from experienced engineering professionals, and a summer internship with real resume-building experience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory management activities including receiving, stocking, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to ensure materials are available and correctly issued to jobs.
• Aid with maintaining accurate inventory records within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Assist with transaction execution in the MES system (receipts, issues, transfers, work order consumption).
• Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
• Assist with documentation of inventory processes and standard work.
