Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking an onsite supply chain logistics specialist in Durham, NC. The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with Diagnostics customers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods in the Americas region.

You will manage SAP transactions, coordinate outbound shipments, and monitor KPIs to drive efficiencies and cost savings. Some travel may be required, with extensions possible based on performance and headcount.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics roles.
• Associate's degree preferred / advanced training or equivalent experience acceptable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP (MM/SD modules) required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, needed.
• Prior experience in air transportation, customs clearance processes and international logistics desirable
• APICS certification/ Six Sigma or equivalent is a plus.
• Candidates should have customer/vendor-facing support experience.

Responsibilities

• This role also delivers quality products and services on time to all customers, internal and external.
• Monitor processes and products to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• In some cases, minimal domestic and International travel may be required.
• Maintenance of sales order entry into SAP
• Coordination and Management of outbound shipments to Customers, including facilitating import permits and other logistic requirements
• Manage the Track and Trace process to ensure meeting the validated shipping requirements
• Customer invoicing and SOX compliance
• Assist with the management of Logistics Providers, including 3PL warehouses and Freight Carriers
• Maintenance of SAP transactions to ensure data integrity and traceability of products
• Contribute to Supply Chain strategic/special projects
• Collaborating with Planning/Procurement group for ongoing analysis of inventory levels
• Performing ongoing analysis of Supply Chain KPIs including On-time Delivery
• Other duties as assigned by the department manager
• Seeks to understand customer's needs, educates customers, builds relationships, and sets up customer feedback
