Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an onsite Supply Chain Assistant in The Colony, TX to support purchase order creation and coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

The role focuses on ensuring timely inbound inventory flow, accurate cost tracking, and clear communication across logistics partners. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field and 0–1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience or internship.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain purchase orders based on cross-functional needs and supply chain constraints.
• Communicate PO and transportation information with agents and vendors.
• Negotiate PO criteria with vendors and in-country teams to ensure proper inbound inventory flow.
• Update weekly and ad-hoc reporting to ensure accuracy of inventory, costs, destination, and ship/ETA dates.
• Track and update customer facing order dates to reflect backorder dates and receipt forecasts.
• Partner with Inventory Management, Merchandising, Sourcing, Distribution Center Operations, and Transportation teams to resolve problems and improve supply chain efficiency.
