Job summary

Vallen Distribution seeks a Site Coordinator for its Supply Chain Services, typically onsite at a customer location. You will report to the Supply Chain Services Sr Manager and help ensure streamlined operations, customer satisfaction, and alignment with company goals.

Collaborate with inside sales and accounts to strengthen customer relationships. The role requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 3+ years in supply chain management and at least 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, distribution, or related industry.
• Experience with indirect materials is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily functions of Supply Chain Solutions at the customer site, ensuring service standards and cost optimization.
• Lead onsite Supply Chain Solutions associates, focusing on performance, training, and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the Sr Manager to align team activities with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and opportunities.
• Oversee onsite inventory and assets, ensuring accurate tracking and minimizing wastage.
• Monitor KPIs such as service levels, fill rate, and downtime; propose improvements based on data.
• Optimize inventory controls with the customer and account representatives to prevent stock-outs.
• Ensure adherence to inventory protocols and periodic cycle counts; drive process improvements.
• Conduct regular reviews to refine processes and drive operational efficiencies.
