Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Quality Engineering (Suppliers) to support supplier evaluation, flow-down of requirements, and issue resolution in Camden, NJ. The role interfaces with program management, supply chain, manufacturing and engineering to ensure conforming products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree optional.
• 2+ years of experience in operations, supply chain and/or quality.
• AS9100/ISO9001 or equivalent quality management system audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement IMS policies and standards for supplier management to drive a preventive culture.
• Assess and audit supplier capabilities to meet requirements.
• Visit suppliers to review issues and perform RCA and corrective actions.
• Initiate supplier corrective actions and ensure robust containment.
• Analyze supplier performance and develop improvement plans to reduce costs.
• Collaborate with supply chain to maintain approved supplier list.
