Job summary

Midway Staffing, Inc. is seeking a hands-on onsite coordinator in Denton, TX. You’ll own client and associate relationships, recruit and onboard new hires, and ensure timely payroll processing.

With 1–2 years in staffing or HR and strong communication, you’ll juggle multiple priorities and coordinate onboarding at the client site, driving successful placements.

• Handle first-day logistics so new hires actually stick.
• Process and approve timecards so payroll goes out on time.
• Check in with clients and associates to catch problems early.
• Represent Midway at job fairs and community hiring events.

$24.50/hr, Paid Weekly, Plus Quarterly Bonus

Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:30 PM to 2:30 AM

Reports To: Branch Manager

Location: Onsite in Denton, TX

What you’ll actually be doing

You are Midway at the client site. When a supervisor on the floor needs 12 people by Thursday, they call you. When a new associate is nervous on their first shift, you are the one who walks them in.

Day to day, that looks like:

• Owning the relationship with the client and with every associate on the floor
• Recruiting, screening resumes, and running phone and in-person interviews
• Running onboarding from background checks through new hire paperwork
• Handling first-day logistics so new hires actually stick
• Processing and approving timecards so payroll goes out clean and on time
• Checking in with clients and associates to catch problems before they become problems
• Repping Midway at job fairs and community hiring events

It is fast. It is people-heavy. If you like solving a different puzzle every hour, you will like this.

What we’re looking for

• Bilingual English/Spanish. This is non-negotiable. You will use both every single day.
• 1 to 2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support. Staffing agency experience is a big plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent. An associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or something related is nice to have, not required.
• You build rapport fast, with everyone from a plant manager to a first-day associate.
• You can juggle. Multiple priorities, hard deadlines, moving parts.
• Comfortable in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, and you have used an ATS before.
• You take initiative. Nobody is going to hand you a checklist every morning.
