This is the job for people who hate sitting still

Some jobs you clock into. This one you dive into. At Midway Staffing, we connect real people with real opportunities at some of the most respected light industrial employers around Mesquite, and we solve the workforce problems our clients lose sleep over. As a Staffing Coordinator, you're the face of your branch. You're the person a client calls at 6 AM when they're short a full crew for the morning line. You're the person a job seeker never forgets because you actually picked up the phone and followed through.

If your favorite feeling is the click of an open order getting filled fast and filled right, we should talk.

Your day, start to finish

No two days look alike, and that's exactly why you'll love it. You'll open the door to a walk-in candidate and have them interviewed before lunch. You'll talk a client off a ledge and cover their shift before they even finish explaining the problem. You'll dive into the ATS and leave it cleaner than you found it. Onboarding paperwork, background checks, first-day prep, live placements to check on. You'll keep all of it moving, and you'll keep all of it tight.

The people who win here are the ones who get sharper when the day speeds up. Who see the problem coming and head it off before it turns into an escalation. Who watch their numbers like they own them, because they do. Fill rate, retention, attendance, client satisfaction. You'll move those numbers, and you'll feel the win every time they climb.

What you'll own

You'll build real relationships with clients and job seekers and become the first name they think of for anything staffing. You'll source, screen, and interview candidates, then match them to roles so well the placement actually sticks. You'll partner with your recruiters and your Branch Manager on hiring strategy, throw yourself into career fairs and recruitment drives to grow the local talent pool, and keep your ear to the ground on the Mesquite job market so your branch is always a step ahead. And once a placement is live, you're the one making sure both sides are happy it happened.

What tells us you'll crush it

You build rapport fast, and people trust you almost immediately. You say what you mean, clearly and directly, whether you're across a desk, on the phone, or firing off an email, and you're just as comfortable managing a nervous candidate as a demanding client. You can juggle ten priorities without dropping a single one. You'd rather solve the problem yourself than wait around for someone to solve it for you. You move with urgency, you follow through every single time, and let's be honest, you'd take a busy day over a slow one any week.

The practical must-haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is a plus
  • 1–2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support (staffing agency experience is a bonus)
  • Comfortable running in-person and phone interviews with sharp attention to detail
  • Solid with Microsoft and/or Google Suite, and prior ATS experience is a plus
Our people live our values

Reliable. We follow through, every time. Trust is the foundation of everything we do.
Relentless. We push past challenges to deliver results and uncover opportunities.
Team Player. We win together and pick each other up.

If those three words already describe how you work, you're going to fit right in.

What we offer

Real career advancement inside a fast-growing company with clear paths to move up. Competitive pay with placement commissions and monthly bonus potential. Paid, hands-on training built to set you up to win from day one. And a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
