Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Substation Construction Manager for a multiyear data center project in Covington, LA. You will lead subcontractor crews and oversee construction and commissioning of a major substation, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will drive performance across field activities, manage a team of ~25, and ensure compliance with project contracts and technical standards. This is a contract-based onsite role with substantial onsite leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have proven substation construction management experience.
• Experience in electrical distribution and power delivery environments.
• Background in managing production, quality, and safety on field projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractor crews in construction and commissioning of a substation for a data center project.
• Drive subcontractor performance to meet production, quality, safety, and schedule goals.
• Oversee day-to-day field construction activities per documents and standards.
