Job summary

Riot Platforms is seeking a Project Lead Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of high voltage substation infrastructure. This role unifies Design, Engineering, Procurement and Contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion with the highest quality standards.

Based in Rockdale, TX, it requires five days a week in-office presence. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction management, preferably in data centers, with strong CSA/MEP knowledge and proficiency in Procore,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction management, with a strong preference for data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive multi-phased data center projects from inception through business turnover; lead pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Actively manage project budgeting, including cost-to-date variance, cash-flow forecasting, and monthly invoicing review.
• Lead SOW/RFP processes, evaluate pricing proposals, manage RFI processing, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Organize and lead cross-functional workgroups across Design, Engineering, Procurement, Land Enablement, Operations and Legal.
• Perform regular site walks to assess progression, design compliance, and quality; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Identify constructability challenges and risks early; implement mitigation strategies to balance interests of Owner, Design Team, and Contractor.
• Oversee the handoff of assets, commissioning reports, and as-built documentation to Operations and Facilities teams.
• Document lessons learned to drive process improvements and schedule efficiencies.
