Qualifications

• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• 1–2 years of central sterile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable medical devices and instruments.
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and related sterile processing equipment per policy.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and completeness; identify items needing repair.
• Assemble instrument trays and procedure sets per standardized lists and quality standards.
• Document processing activities using instrument tracking systems to maintain traceability.
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment to support operations.
• Transport instruments and supplies to support patient care areas.
• Communicate equipment issues and safety risks to appropriate staff.
