Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to independently perform sterile processing, reprocessing specialty instrumentation, and support quality and efficiency in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, CRCST/CSPD certification, and 1–2 years of healthcare sterile processing experience. Onsite work at 75 Francis Street with a 40-hour shift week is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• 1-2 years' experience as a Central Sterile Technician in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, and assemble sterile instruments per IFU.
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and related equipment following policies.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and identify repairs.
• Package trays and maintain device traceability using tracking systems.
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and support transport to care areas.
• Follow regulatory and infection prevention standards.
