Job summary

Rx Route is hiring a Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work onsite at our Tomball, Texas pharmacy. This full-time/part-time role requires reporting onsite for all shifts and adhering to aseptic USP procedures in a dedicated cleanroom.

Responsibilities include compounding sterile preparations, proper garb, accurate labeling and documentation, and supporting inventory and workflow with the pharmacist. Onsite work is required, with hours discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacy technician license/registration required by state.
• Sterile compounding certification (e.g., PTCB CSPT) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail with comfort with calculations and documentation.
• Ability to work a full shift in cleanroom garb and onsite in Tomball, TX.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile preparations in a USP-compliant cleanroom.
• Gown and garb to maintain aseptic technique; document each preparation.
• Perform cleanroom cleaning, sanitization, and quality checks.
• Assist with inventory, dating, and workflow with pharmacist and team.
• Follow SOPs and report issues promptly.
