Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Eligible to practice pharmacy in the State of Texas.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Texas pharmacy laws, USP <795>, <797>, <800> standards.
• HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Tomball, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Prescription verification and patient safety; final pharmacist review.
• Review prescriptions for legality, accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
• Ensure correct patient, medication, strength, dosage, directions, and labeling.
• Identify and resolve medication errors and safety concerns before dispensing.
• Provide supervision to technicians and interns within legal scope.
• Support workflow optimization and training initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and audit-ready records.
