Job summary

Surge Staffing seeks an Onsite Staffing Specialist to join our team, responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and delivering exceptional service at the client site. This full-time position supports client workforce needs and connects candidates with meaningful employment.

You will serve as the primary contact for employees and client management, conducting interviews, onboarding, and ongoing support while maintaining strong relationships with leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales, customer service, recruiting, or staffing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees.
• Recruit, interview, screen, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source talent through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate qualifications and skill sets to client workforce needs.
• Maintain a strong onsite presence and build relationships with client leadership and employees.
• Conduct new hire orientations, facility tours, & employee onboarding.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and employee retention.
• Address employee concerns, questions, and workplace issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct regular follow-up with employees and client contacts to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with workforce planning and staffing forecasts, including terminations.
• Perform administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and employee record maintenance.
• Support client retention efforts through exceptional service and communication.
• Assist with business development opportunities and account growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
