Job summary

Life-Science Innovations, LLC in Willmar, MN is seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time role on site at two nearby locations. You will record daily financial transactions, prepare journal entries, maintain fixed assets, and support month-end close to help deliver accurate financial reports.

The ideal candidate has an accounting degree with 1–2 years of experience, solid GAAP knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and careful attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and active listening.
• Ability to coordinate tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries accurately and timely.
• Analyze financial trends, revenues, expenses, and costs to support forecasting and decision-making.
• Record and reconcile various transactional activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure GAAP-compliant recording.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support the preparation of internal financial reports and schedules.
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties as needed.
