Handi Medical Supply in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to maintain financial integrity and drive operational excellence. This in-person role supports month-end close, GAAP compliance, budgeting and cross‑functional collaboration with leadership.

You will lead financial statements, improve processes, mentor staff, and support audits while contributing to strategic initiatives and process automation projects.

Qualifications

• Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation and review.
• Close processes: month-end and year-end, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• GAAP compliance, policy adherence, and regulatory reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience implementing or maintaining internal controls and ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate discrepancies for accurate reporting.
• Perform reconciliations of cash, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
