Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as cultural mediator to enhance communication between staff and patients/families from diverse cultures in medical contexts.
• Keep accurate documentation of interpretation encounters including location, duration and purpose.
• Coordinate and train staff in the use of telephone language interpretation services and equipment.
• Answer calls promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
