Space Ground System Solutions (SGSS), a Parsons company, has an immediate full-time opening for a software test engineer working onsite at our customer site located in Welcome, MD. The position focuses on software and system-level testing using Neptune software at the Blossom Point Tracking Facility.

The role requires 3+ years of test experience, US citizenship, and DoD clearance eligibility, with collaboration across systems engineering, software development, and Ops Support in a dynamic

Formación

• Three or more years of experience as a test engineer.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing test cases.
• Experience with cloud computing concepts.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and CLI.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting (Python).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• US citizenship and eligibility for DoD security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze requirements and confer with stakeholders.
• Verify and track new features; create and execute automated tests.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot software system issues with developers and testers.
• Collaborate across systems engineering, software, and Ops support.
• Support software releases and system deployments; track patch versions.
• Provide on-call support for operational systems.
• Contribute to SDPs, SOPs, and CM reports; coordinate with government security.
