Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for the Naval Power SBU in Tewksbury, MA. The role focuses on verification/validation of embedded code, simulations, firmware, and other digital artifacts across cross-functional teams onsite.

You will participate in product development lifecycle, ensure product/process compliance, and help drive continuous improvement in software quality and testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2+ years applying technical concepts in software development.
• Experience with software/firmware development, quality assessments, and Agile/DevOps.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support program execution across design and development of digital products.
• Review inputs/outputs to Software, Systems, System Integration and Test work products.
• Contribute to root-cause analyses and process improvements.
