Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking a Software Developer and DevOps Engineer for an onsite contract in Frederick, Maryland. You will build, integrate, and support applications and automation arising from task orders, including API development, system integrations, and deployment pipelines.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code, and provide Tier 3 support. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be willing to work on-site in Frederick.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and building system integrations.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tooling and Git version control.
• Experience deploying and operating workloads in AWS or Azure.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Willingness to report onsite in Frederick, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and integrations for client needs.
• Build and support APIs and interfaces connecting departmental systems.
• Design and maintain CI and CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Automate manual processes identified during business analysis engagements.
• Support deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and releases.
• Apply secure development practices and help remediate security findings.
• Produce technical documentation covering code and deployment procedures.
• Provide Tier 3 support for applications developed or supported under the contract.
• Coordinate with data engineering staff on integration points and data flows.
• Maintain availability for client consultation 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, M-F.
