Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is seeking a Software Developer and DevOps Engineer for an onsite, task order–based contract in Frederick, MD. The role covers application development, API integration, and deployment automation to support a large public sector client.

The engineer will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC, and ensure secure coding practices while delivering technical documentation and Tier 3 support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Software Engineering/IT.
• Minimum five years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and building system integrations.
• Hands-on CI/CD tooling experience and Git version control.
• Experience deploying workloads in AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to report onsite in Frederick, MD as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and integrations for client needs.
• Build and support APIs and interfaces connecting departmental systems.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Automate manual processes identified during business analysis engagements.
• Support deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and release coordination.
• Apply secure development practices and remediate security findings.
• Produce technical documentation for code, configurations, and deployments.
• Provide Tier 3 support for applications under the contract.
• Coordinate with data engineering on integration points and data flows.
• Maintain availability for client consultation 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, M-F.
