Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is seeking a Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist for an onsite, contract role in Frederick, MD. The analyst will validate data, perform analysis, develop dashboards, and automate reporting across task orders for a large public sector client.

Responsibilities include building dashboards in Power BI/Tableau, documenting data sources and calculations, and ensuring timely responses within business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field
• Minimum three years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operational reporting
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python, R, or a comparable analytical language
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable platform
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data cleanup techniques
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain analytical findings without jargon
• Ability to handle confidential data appropriately and to exercise discretion in a public sector environment
• Ability to report onsite in Frederick, Maryland on the schedule required by the assigned task order

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and reconcile data from client systems and departmental sources
• Perform analysis to identify trends, gaps, workload patterns, and operational performance issues
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms
• Support metric development by documenting definitions, calculation logic, and data sources
• Automate recurring reporting tasks to reduce manual effort for client staff
• Prepare written reports and briefing materials that present findings clearly to non technical readers
• Document data sources, assumptions, limitations, and methodology for every deliverable
• Support quality assurance reviews of reporting accuracy and documentation completeness
• Maintain availability for client consultation between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, respond to inquiries within one business day, and respond to urgent requests within four hours
