Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join as year-round Business Tax Experts in TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation for individuals and business entities, serving as a trusted advisor and central relationship owner for clients.

You’ll work on-site in a TurboTax store, partnering with bookkeeping specialists when needed, and growing TurboTax’s local client base through outreach and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065/1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season.
• 3 seasons of personal tax preparation with at least 30 returns per year.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping; willing to upskill to QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
• Experience preparing business tax returns and providing year‑round tax guidance for small businesses.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses or bonds; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation for TurboTax clients (consumer and business).
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s financial picture and recommend Intuit solutions.
• Build long-term relationships and expand client engagement across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professional, clear guidance in person and via Intuit tools.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador, engaging locals and representing TurboTax in marketing efforts.
• Lead outreach to attract new prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
• Collaborate with TurboTax marketing to grow local presence and client base.
